How Do I use Remembear?

We normally don’t consider a sense of humor to be a selling point when you’re talking about password managers, but the fact that so many other password managers out there are so dry means that we have to welcome the bit of fun that Remembear’s bear humor offers.
User interface in this instance goes beyond humor, though. Remembear is an incredibly simple service that benefits greatly from its simplicity. As long as you’re familiar with the basic functionality of a password manager, you’re going to feel right at home with Remember. If you’re not familiar with password managers, Remembear is one of the easiest to learn.
In terms of price, Remembear finds itself somewhere in the middle of the pack. A year of Remembear service will cost you $36 (or $3 a month). Generally speaking, the industry standard for password management subscriptions is about $39.99 a year. It’s certainly cheaper than the premium options offered by services like Dashlane. The free Remembear option is also comparable to the ones offered by competing services.
It’s when you start breaking down the features of Remembear that things get a little trickier. Remembear doesn’t offer a VPN bundle deal, which is a shame considering this company makes one of our favorite VPN services. It also doesn’t offer a credit monitoring system like Dashlane, and you won’t get the encrypted file storage space or fingerprint identification offered by LastPass.
Remembear holds its own when it comes to competing services, but it’s perhaps a bit shy of being top of its class. Remembear’s “kill switch” features make someone physically accessing your desktop or phone a slightly greater risk. Theoretically, someone could walk up to your computer running Remembear and access your session. The risk is slightly less on mobile as long as you close out your app after use.
Remembear’s mobile app also holds its own thanks again to its user interface. Navigating the app is a breeze, and it’s as reliable as any other service’s mobile app out there. Again, for mobile users, that’s one of the password manager’s biggest selling points.
The general message here is that free users will find that Remembear compares favorably to other password managers. When you dive into premium options is when you might want to start comparing your options based on the price of the service.

We would, however, be lying if we told you that Remebear is the most feature-heavy password manager out there. It’s not, but you’ve got to ask yourself how much that matters. Do you need identity theft protection?What about extra storage options? Do you need fingerprint identification?
Maybe you do (or maybe you want it), but if you just want a solid password manager, then that’s what you’ll get here. Remembear’s combination of usability, affordability, and security makes it a top of the line password manager option for both new users and free password manager users looking for something a little sleeker.
If you have a premium password manager via another service, then you might not have a reason to swap to Remembear based on its features alone (except for maybe price). Honestly, though, it’s hard to argue against this as either your first premium password manager or a more usable overall password manager alternative.
